Russia and Ukraine exchange accusations of ceasefire violations

Russia and Ukraine have leveled mutual accusations against each other of violating ceasefire conditions, according to France 24. Both sides of the conflict assert that the opposing side is conducting military operations in contravention of reached agreements.

According to the Ukrainian side, Russian troops continue to carry out military operations in territories where a ceasefire should be in effect. In turn, Russian military officials make analogous statements regarding Ukrainian armed forces.

Such mutual accusations are characteristic of periods of temporary lulls in combat operations in Ukraine. Neither side officially confirms a breach of conditions, while both insist on adherence to reached agreements.
