Cengiz Yıldız, owner of the 'profdraleks' account, was arrested for sharing insults and threats targeting Fenerbahçe's chairman's daughter.

Cengiz Yıldız, who is alleged to be the owner of the account with the username 'profdraleks', was detained in Bursa following a criminal complaint filed by Fenerbahçe Sports Club Chairman Aziz Yıldırım with the Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
In a petition submitted to the prosecutor's office on Monday, Yıldırım's lawyers filed a complaint about insulting, threatening, and privacy-violating posts that used the chairman's daughter Yaz Yıldırım's photograph without permission. The petition also raised the issue of negative comment campaigns allegedly conducted systematically against the club through social media.
Yıldırım, who won the club chairmanship election held in June and returned to office, had repeatedly emphasized in public that he would not hesitate to pursue legal remedies against attacks directed at him via social media since that date. The Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office did not provide any additional clarification regarding the scope of the ongoing investigation. The matter was reported by Cumhuriyet Gazette.
Cengiz Yıldız, owner of the social media account 'profdraleks', was detained in Bursa following a criminal complaint by Fenerbahçe Chairman Aziz Yıldırım over insulting and threatening posts targeting his daughter. Yıldırım's lawyers complained about the unauthorized use of the chairman's daughter's photograph and systematic negative comment campaigns directed against the club.
The criminal complaint demonstrates practical consequences of complaints filed with prosecutors regarding social media, exposing the legal ramifications of insults and threatening posts. Such legal proceedings can influence discussions within the sports community and public opinion about the regulation of social media behavior.
