Three Turkish nationals from hantavirus-affected ship to be brought back tomorrow

Three Turkish nationals aboard the ship where hantavirus cases were detected will be brought back to Türkiye tomorrow. Health authorities announced that the citizens will arrive in the country following medical evaluation and necessary health checks.

As part of precautionary measures taken due to health conditions on the ship, crew members are being required to comply with isolation protocols. Hantavirus is an infectious disease transmitted through contact with rodents and can cause serious health complications.

The Ministry of Health has prepared appropriate health facilities for the returning citizens. Turkish authorities will continue to monitor the situation in accordance with international health standards.
