5 million kilowatts of electricity generated from organic waste in Çorum

Four hundred tons of organic waste separated from garbage collected in Çorum is being converted into electrical energy at the Biomass Energy Plant. Over the past 5 years, this method has generated 5 million 250 thousand kilowatts of electricity.

The project is a successful example in waste management and renewable energy. Converting organic waste into an energy source achieves both environmental protection and energy production goals. The system presents a model that can be implemented in other provinces as well.
