Trabzonspor and Konyaspor referred to PFDK following Turkey Cup final

Trabzonspor and TÜMOSAN Konyaspor, who faced each other in the Ziraat Turkey Cup final, have been referred to the Professional Football Disciplinary Board (PFDK) following the match. According to Cumhuriyet newspaper, the referral decision has been officially made; however, the grounds for the investigation and which incidents fall within the scope of examination have not yet been shared with the public.

The process initiated following developments in the final of the Ziraat Turkey Cup, Turkey's most prestigious club football tournament, is being closely followed by the football community. The PFDK, which functions as the disciplinary authority in Turkish football, will evaluate both clubs on the basis of relevant documents and reports and reach a ruling.

It is stated that the board may impose various sanctions on the clubs following completion of the investigation, such as fines or playing behind closed doors.
