More than 4.3 million Ukrainians have received temporary protection in the EU, with the majority remaining in Germany, Poland and Czechia. In March, the number of protected persons decreased by 69,000, but experts point out that this may be a consequence of registry updates and internal relocation rather than returns to the homeland.
