Slovakia will not relinquish its EU veto right

Slovakia has no intention of surrendering its veto right within the European Union, senior Slovak politician Tibor Gaspar said, according to TASS.

In his words, loss of this right would mean a "significant curtailment of Slovakia's sovereignty." The country's position is part of discussions on reforming decision-making principles in the EU.
