Half a million visitors expected to flood small district

One of Turkey's least-populated districts is expected to receive 500,000 visitors. The district currently has a population of only 6,600 — a figure set to change with a map and tourism project.

Although the project's details have not yet been fully disclosed, it is expected to create a major economic opportunity for the region. Significant investments in infrastructure and the service sector are also expected to be necessary.
