Adana Public Prosecutor's Office prepared an indictment against Mehmet K., who is accused of killing Ahmet Tuncöz and making his death appear as a traffic accident.

The Adana Public Prosecutor's Office has filed an indictment against Mehmet K. (33), who allegedly stabbed his friend Ahmet Tuncöz (43) to death in the Karaisalı district on May 3 and then attempted to make the death appear as a traffic accident, seeking aggravated life imprisonment for the offense of murder committed with brutal intent and causing suffering.
Adana's 10th Heavy Penal Court accepted the indictment. According to the indictment, the defendant stabbed Tuncöz in a manner that caused his internal organs to rupture following an argument between them. In an effort to conceal the crime, he crashed the vehicle into rocks and then called the 112 Emergency Call Center claiming only a 'traffic accident' had occurred.
What unraveled the scenario covering up the crime were MOBESE and security camera recordings along the route. Upon examination of the camera footage, it was determined that the incident was not a traffic accident but a premeditated murder, and Mehmet K. was arrested and brought before the court for trial. The case will continue to be heard in Adana's 10th Heavy Penal Court.
