Property tax payment deadline in 3 days: June 1 is the final date

Property owners with real estate such as homes, shops, land, and fields have only 3 days left until the property tax first installment payment deadline expires. According to TRT Haber, the final payment date has been set as June 1.

Since municipal cashiers are closed during the Eid al-Adha holiday period, taxpayers do not have the opportunity to make payments in person. For this reason, authorities have advised taxpayers to use online payment channels, particularly through municipal websites and the e-Government portal.

Because late payment penalties will be applied to property tax paid after the deadline, delaying payment until after the holiday could create a financial burden. This situation directly affects citizens who own multiple properties or those who have postponed payment until the last day. It is of great importance that property owners complete their transactions by June 1 at the end of business hours.
