According to the exit poll from state broadcaster Channel 11, released after polling stations closed on October 27, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's Likud party receives 25 seats in the 120-seat Knesset.

Netanyahu's main opposition rival, Gadi Eisenkot with the Yesh Atid party, takes second place with 21 seats.

The opposition bloc as a whole outpaces the current ruling coalition: 53 against 50 seats. Arab parties are projected to receive 17 seats; none of the main blocs, according to the same data, are willing to form a coalition with their participation.

Thus, neither political camp reaches the threshold of 61 seats necessary to create a ruling majority in the 120-seat Knesset.
