Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymalievi held a meeting on implementing directives to ensure the domestic market's supply of petroleum products, according to Kabar.

Based on the meeting's findings, reserves of AI-95 and AI-92 petrol, diesel fuel, and liquefied gas — including volumes in the storage facilities of oil traders, Zhunda company, JSC Kyrgyzneftegas, as well as shipments in transit — will meet the country's demand through the end of 2025.

The state continues to subsidize companies importing petroleum products. The republican budget has allocated over 11.389 billion soms for subsidy financing. As of today, over 2.623 billion soms has been transferred from this sum. The subsidy program has been in effect since May 25, 2025, and will continue until December 31.

Kyrgyzstan consumes between 1.4 and 1.85 million tons of petroleum products annually, including petrol, diesel, and liquefied gas.

Following the meeting, Kasymalievi tasked relevant state agencies with several directives: to disburse subsidies on time, to ensure uninterrupted operation of filling stations throughout the country, to maintain prices set by the cabinet of ministers, to address logistics problems at the border, to seek new suppliers, and to accelerate modernization of existing and construction of new oil refineries.
