Kyrgyzstan Revoked Licenses and Closed Accounts of A7 and A7A5 Network Participants
Presidential Special Representative Sydykov: 52 legal entities liquidated, another 57 undergoing forced liquidation, more than 240 accounts closed.
Kyrgyzstan has taken preventive measures against market participants linked to the A7A5 stablecoin and A7 network. The financial supervisory authority revoked licenses from a number of participants, the Cabinet of Ministers adopted decisions on the liquidation of several organizations, and materials on other entities have been transferred to competent authorities.
This was announced by Bakyt Sydykov, the President's Special Representative for Special Assignments on Sanctions Policy and Sanctions Risk Minimization. According to him, as of October 20, 2026, in the framework of work to minimize sanctions risks, 52 legal entities have ceased operations, and procedures for forced liquidation are underway against another 57. State banks have closed more than 240 accounts.
According to Sydykov, the country's position is unambiguous: "the territory, jurisdiction, banking and payment infrastructure of the Kyrgyz Republic must not be used" for operations aimed at circumventing sanctions restrictions.
He emphasized that Kyrgyzstan is taking note of the concerns expressed by the European Union, Great Britain, and the United States regarding the risks of sanctions evasion through third countries. State authorities are checking companies, analyzing cross-border payments, establishing ultimate beneficial owners, and determining the economic substance of transactions with elevated risk levels.
Sydykov noted that sanctions risk minimization issues are under special control by President Sadyr Japarov, who has tasked authorities with ensuring coordinated work on identifying risks and monitoring compliance with adopted measures.
