Japarov Opens 105 Facilities Across Kyrgyzstan on Sovereignty Day

Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov attended celebrations marking the country's 35th anniversary of sovereignty in Talas and remotely commissioned 105 social and industrial facilities across the republic.

The facilities placed into service included schools, kindergartens, hospitals, factories, and plants. The new facilities are intended to improve social infrastructure in the regions, develop production, and create jobs. The celebrations spanned the entire country: facilities were opened simultaneously in different regions of the republic during a unified online ceremony, allowing the celebrations to be unified across the entire country.

On the eve of the holiday, September 11, Japarov attended the opening of Talas's central mosque. On the day of the celebrations themselves, the head of state was present at the state flag-raising ceremony on the city's central square, followed by the solemn opening of the facilities. Talas was selected as the center of the republic's 35th sovereignty anniversary celebrations, the Kabar news agency reported.
