Marlen Mamataliiev, Chairman of Jogorku Kenesh, met with leaders of major Japanese companies during his official visit to Japan, a delegation headed by Keidanren business federation representative Takeshi Hashimoto. This was reported by Kabar.

Following the negotiations, Japanese entrepreneurs expressed interest in purchasing antimony and silicon produced in Kyrgyzstan. At the same time, the process of signing a memorandum with mining company JKII was accelerated.

Mataliiev proposed to the Japanese side opening an official Toyota dealership center in Kyrgyzstan, creating logistics centers as part of the China—Kyrgyzstan—Uzbekistan railway project, and building a medical complex in the country. Additionally, the question was raised of including Kyrgyzstan in Japanese cargo routes along the Trans-Caspian direction, taking into account the experience of company Mitsui O.S.K. Lines.

The speaker informed investors about the country's economic growth: according to him, Kyrgyzstan's economy has grown by no less than 9% over the past five years, and in the first half of 2026—by nearly 12%. Mamataliiev also presented conditions for access to the EAEU market, tax benefits, and investor protection guarantees.

The Japanese side expressed significant interest in the proposed projects and the investment potential of the republic.
