ÖSYM Chair Ersoy: YKS Preference System Closes Tonight at 23.59

Prof. Dr. Bayram Ali Ersoy, Chair of the Measurement, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM), announced on social media that the 2025 YKS preference system will close on August 10 at 23.59. Ersoy directly warned candidates not to leave confirmation steps until the last minute.

Candidates must finalize their preferences through confirmation on ÖSYM's Candidate Operations System (AİS) or mobile application. After the system closes, no changes or confirmation opportunities will be available.

It is recalled that during last year's preference process, access to servers was difficult on the final day due to heavy traffic, and ÖSYM was forced to extend the deadline by 15 minutes. Sözcü Gazetesi noted in reporting the announcement that no similar extension decision has been announced this year. Approximately 3 million candidates participated in the YKS this year.
