According to the investigation file, organization members shot a bar owner in the leg, abducted another person from his workplace, and demanded extortion.

In an operation conducted under investigation number 2025/5830 by the Adana Public Prosecutor's Office, simultaneous raids were carried out across 11 provinces targeting the criminal organization known as 'Şimşekler,' resulting in 64 suspects being detained.
Findings reflected in the investigation file expose the organization's systematic cycle of extortion and armed violence. On July 16, 2024, when Murat Susar, operator of 'El Alem Bar,' refused an extortion demand, he was subjected to an armed attack; he was shot in the left knee and right calf and wounded. The incident was entered into the investigation file under charges of intentional wounding and attempted robbery.
Deniz Arslan became another target of the organization. Using a previous verbal altercation as a pretext, Arslan was forcibly abducted from a workplace belonging to Gökhan Korgan on December 18, 2024; extortion was demanded from both individuals. Two days later, on December 20, 2024, Arslan's vehicle was shot at. These acts were recorded as crimes of deprivation of liberty, attempted robbery, and property damage.
The file also revealed documentation of numerous armed incidents stemming from conflict between 'Şimşekler' and rival group 'Aratlar.' According to information, the investigation is still ongoing.
